Drake Has Three Modes Of Combat
Basic:
Non-Life Threatening;
Little to No Injury expected towards himself or any innocents
Advanced:
Life Threatening;
Mild to Fatal Injury expected towards himself or any innocents
Weapons:
Serious Life Threat;
Used only when severely outnumbered or mass causalty expected
Basic ComBAt (Non-Life Threatening) :
In basic combat, Drake does not change form or use any extensive amount of energy.
He uses only his heightened agility and the minimal amount of strength requried to incapacitate his enemies long enough to escape.
Basic Combat fights are fights that happen at an inconvenient time or with someone that Drake does not want to be bothered with. Whether it be because they stand little to no chance so the fight would not be fair, or because his focus is elsewhere more important.
Advanced Combat (Life Threatening) :
In advanced combat, Drake feels that the safety and well-being of either himself or innocents is in danger.
In these situations, Drake does change form; his hair grows long and so do his teeth, becoming razor sharp, as well as his fingernails becoming claws.
Once Drake is fully ready, he hunches over, knees slightly bent and arms hanging down at his sides. While in this position, Drake waits to be attacked, as he has more fun dodging and countering then just out right dominating in a fight.
Advanced Combat fights are fights where Drake or an innocent(s) is up against 3 or more people, at least one of which usually wielding a weapon, and in an area that is not familiar territory. All of Drake's vampiric abilities are used to full extent in advanced combat.
Weapons Combat (Serious Life Threat) :
When it comes to weapons combat, Drake only has one weapon, his sword, which he has strapped to his back at all times underneath his clothes.
In situations that require weapons, if already transformed for advanced combat, Drake does change form again; his teeth and claws revert back to normal, though his hair stays long, he also becomes less aggressive. Despite what you would normally think, Drake uses his weapon mainly for defense, since he usually has enough power to take on any battle that he has a chance of winning attack wise. Drake only uses his weapon when he or an innocent(s) are being ambushed or if expecting mass casualty, otherwise, he will fight hand-to-hand combat. In weapons combat, Drake is only focused on the speed of his movements and the strength of his swings.
